I had dinner at La Fiesta tonight with Mamie, one of the first and coolest people Jill Dino introduced me to in 1986 when I moved to Columbia from Ypsilanti in 11th grade. It was fun seeing her again and catching up. Now, however, I reek of ranchero sauce and margarita.

For dessert, I bought klondike bars for Dino Spouse and the boys (Mouse prefers popsicles) at the grocery store where once stood the Columbia Palace 9.
